Need to positive attitude in hospitality industry
Q.Managing Emotions in the Workplace: Do Positive and Negative Attitudes Drive Performance?
A. Positive attitude efforts is much best way VS negative attitudtional failure in our daily drive bad effort.
i. The boss who have attitude problem among his staff. As he look after staff even she resigned in time becuase of the another party offer better salary but same position, the boss seriously counselling with her and even resignation letter applied, he decided and acknowledged to her i. overseas training + promotion packages + per dieum allowances + announced from his official e-mail for congradulating to her in other departemental head. Then after she attended in overseas training, good care arrangement even airport transportation with by limosine. After one month suddenly she reseigned again because she got a good overseas trend hotel job with multiply by 3 of her recent salary. How come they are???
Another staff she is upgrade position and cannot compare with above mentioned staff. She have well experiences in hospitality field with several awarded and nominee of the continously selection, keen to learnt, several kind of operational theory and prectically achievement by her self. No proudy, calm nature, one day she just received nominated selection by her hotel ministry and sponsored by abroad committee judged and seleceted to her. Therefore they acknowledged to the boss, on that day her boss emotion and negative face back to her. How shall she approach her boss to explanation, however she calm and explained to her boss positively and she had to attend the overseas training course.
Still she supported steadily and professionally even her boss is very negative support, she treated and joined her responsibilities confidently.
Like that kind of favourism and leakage of favourism, positive and negative attitudes drive performance, how effective only under same roof and good result come through from not favourism only come through positive attitude minded staff. How feel, it is comfort or sorrow for this boss. He have to be judgement and analysis his attidutional mind set.
