European Symposium on Gay & Lesbian Tourism: 13 February 2009 |
|
Community Marketing, Inc., (CMI), the global gay and lesbian market research and communications firm founded in 1992, has announced a full-day educational and networking forum for leaders in the European tourism and hospitality industries. |
CMI's European Symposium on Gay & Lesbian Tourism is an extension of the firm's annual conference, presented in North American locations since 2000. This is the first venue for the popular educational programme in Europe.
Participants from across the UK, as well as throughout Europe and North America are invited to attend the Symposium at the Cumberland Hotel (Marble Arch) on 13 February 2009. The programme is co-sponsored by Visit London, the official tourism organisation for London.
"In a soft tourism market, the gay and lesbian segment presents a valid and viable opportunity for growth," said David Paisley, the event organiser. "The European Symposium offers a comprehensive research, advertising, marketing, and communications forum that will help attendees reach both inbound and outbound gay and lesbian travellers."
Audience: Dedicated to marketing, advertising and PR executives and agencies serving the tourism and hospitality industries, who want to successfully reach North American, British and European gay/lesbian visitors, and initiate or update effective strategies.
Dedicated: Symposium attendance is limited in order to facilitate the best learning and networking environment. Gain practical take-aways and new approaches from the CMI team, and our European strategic partners.
Advance registration is just GBP 145, including all educational sessions, lunch and reception. Symposium registration is now open: http://www.communitymarketinginc.com/mkt_int_glms.htm
